Aris Kyparissis

Aris Kyparissis is an Associate Professor of Plant Ecophysiology in the Department of Agriculture Crop Production and Rural Environment, University of Thessaly. He received his BSc in Biology from the University of Patras in 1990 and his PhD in Plant Ecophysiology from the same University in 1995. After postdoctoral work in the University of Patras (1996-2001) he has served as an Assistant Professor (2001-2012) and Associate Professor (2012-2017) in the University of Ioannina and as an Associate Professor (2018-present) in the University of Thessaly. His research interests concern plant ecophysiology, ecosystem dynamics and productivity using field methodologies, photosynthesis models and remote sensing.
